Let's wrap some frequencies of sound around us. We want to share some ideas, experiments and images about textures of sound. Are there sounds which layer themselves around you like a blanket? Maybe like a too tight scarf. Can we knit some songs, just jump on the carpet of sound?

Peter Blasser patří mezi nejvýraznější designéry DIY syntezátorů. Pod značkou Ciat-Lonbarde vyrábí unikátní hudební nástroje, které kromě toho, že jsou dřevěné, vypadají jako pestrobarevné hračky, můžete si je obléct, nebo jsou napájené solární energií, fungují docela jinak než většina nástrojů, se kterými jste mohli setkat, a díky tomu otevírají dveře novým tvůrčím postupům, a každému, kdo má chuť si hrát.

They say Don Buchla was a mastermind of early modular synths and Peter Blasser is a whiz of DIY synths. The Baltimore-based musician builds and designs electronic sound devices for fun and profit with his company, Ciat-Lonbarde. The fun part of all this is that a lot of his instruments look like toys.

In the month of March we are inviting you to a presentation of videos from the rich archive of Vasulka´s as selected by Miloš Vojtěchovský, pedagogue at the Centre of audiovisual studies of FAMU, Prague.

Michal Mitro, an audiovisual artist, is coming to the Kitchen to present his interactive no-input audio instalation Edge of Chaos.
