This robotic installation with responsive projection is as much an apparatus of art as it is a tool for music and an instrument of psychology and physics. Tautophone is a reference to the projective “auditory Rorschach” tests developed by psychologists Skinner, Rosenzweig, and Shakow in the 1930s and 1940s, while Curious here refers to the robot's motivation to explore its surroundings and to learn.
It is our pleasure to announce that for Vašulka Kitchen Brno 2025 residency program we selected media artist Cailean Finn.

Na zakončení výstavy "Přítvory a jiná havěť" vás zveme na autorské zvukové pohoštění v podání Petra Válka, následované videoprojekci dokumentárního filmu o Tony Conradovi. Časosběrný portrét radikálního umělce, aktivisty, teoretika a pedagoga Tony Conrada ikonické osobnosti experimentální hudby, filmu, performance a videa druhé poloviny 20. století režisér Tyler Hubby točil několik let a zakomponoval zde mnoho materiálů z Conradova osobního archivu.
At the occassion of the last day of the exhibition "Figments and Other Vermins", we would like to invite you to the author's sonic entertainment performed by Petr Válek, followed by a video projection of a documentary film about Tony Conrad. A time-lapse portrait of the radical artist, activist, theorist and educator Tony Conrad (1940-2016) - an iconic figure in experimental music, film, performance and video of the second half of the 20th century, the director Tyler Hubby filmed for several years and incorporated many materials from Conrad's personal archives.

Come and spend a pleasant afternoon outside and create a *site-specific* work of art with Vasulka Kitchen in the courtyard of the Kunštát House. The space will come alive with a variety of music and non-music and visitors of all ages will be able to express themselves creatively on a roll of paper lowered from the balcony of the House of the Lords of Kunštát.

Leandro Barzabal je argentinský hudebník a stavitel elektronických nástrojů aktivní v pařížské experimentální scéně, kde zároveň v rámci aktivit studia GRM Parallèle podporuje a popularizuje DIY přístupy k hudbě. Jeho vystoupení často obsahují výrazná gesta, některá jsou velmi brutální zatímco jiná spíše subtilní.
Leandro Barzabal is an Argentinian musician and electronic music instrument builder active in the Paris experimental scene, where he also promotes and popularizes DIY approaches to music through the activities of Studio GRM Parallèle. His performances often include expressive gestures, some of which are very brutal while others are rather subtle.
For the Brno Museum Night in 2022 at Vasulka Kitchen Brno, artist Alberto Novello will prepare an analogue audiovisual performance Laser Drawing, in which he will use the sound of his modular synthesizer to manipulate laser light and create curves with vivid colours. This will give visitors the opportunity to understand sound in a deeper way through its unique visualisation through light.
Pro Brněnskou muzejní noc v roce 2022 ve Vašulka Kitchen Brno připraví umělec Alberto Novello analogovou audiovizuální performanci Laser Drawing, ve které zvuk svého modulárního syntezátoru využije k manipulaci laserového světla a vytváření křivek s živými barvami. Návštěvníkům se tak naskytne příležitost k hlubšímu způsob porozumění zvuku díky jeho jedinečné vizualizaci skrze světlo.
