Unheard frequencies and how to use them / BAW2024
Different types of waves accompany us throughout our lives. Some of them we hear often, while others are forbidden to our ears. We will focus on these neglected and often forbidden sounds and non-sounds at the workshop.
During the workshop, we will build sensors, thanks to which we will listen to the inaudible frequencies of electrical devices, we will show the possibilities of working with feedback or ways of generating sounds through motors and interference with portable radios. In the second part of the workshop, we will jam together with the built instruments and then we will play a joint concert with those interested from 19:00.
The workshop as part of the Brno Art Week 2024 program is intended for everyone who is not afraid to pick up a soldering iron.
