Merzbau Revisited
Online workshop with Helena Lukášova
The workshop is intended for artists who work with 3D modeling programs and are interested in creating a collective work. The purpose of the workshop is to create a shared virtual sculpture in groups of three. The inspiration for this workshop is Merzbau - a growing and constantly changing artwork that transformed Kurt Schwitters' apartment into an art piece. Unfortunately, during the bombing of Hannover, the house was destroyed and Merzbau becoming a kind of art-historical myth.

The basic idea of the workshop is joint participation, file sharing, communication, but mostly creating a growing and changing form. The outputs themselves will then be presented in the form of augmented reality, possibly 3D printing in cooperation with Vašulka Kitchen Brno during Brno Art Week 2020.
The meetings will take place on the Jitsi communication platform. There will be a total of 4 sessions and it is necessary to participate in all of them.
Required knowledge: Basic knowledge of 3D modelling. Files will be shared in the universal OBJ format.
