One of the first Czech video films for which computer animation was applied. The moving image, which is minimalist in content, belongs to the emerging field of video art. The movement, including walking figure, is depicted in the typical mode of early video and computer graphics.
Lucie Svobodová is a visual artist and pioneer of new media art in the Czech republic. She graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague. Was one of the founding members of the Institute of Intermedia, currently teaches Graphic Design at FEL of Technical University in Prague. In her work she experiments with space, movement and feedback in conjunction with computing and technology in general. Initially, she was involved in animation and video art, later combining interactive installations with painting, photography and other fields of visual art.
