The Museum Night 2022 / Alberto Novello / Laser Drawing
For the Brno Museum Night in 2022 at Vasulka Kitchen Brno, artist Alberto Novello will prepare an analogue audiovisual performance Laser Drawing, in which he will use the sound of his modular synthesizer to manipulate laser light and create curves with vivid colours. This will give visitors the opportunity to understand sound in a deeper way through its unique visualisation through light.
Laser Drawing has been presented in various iterations by Novello at electronic and music festivals and major art institutions across the world. Examples include the Glasgow Contemporary Art Center, Centre Pompidou, Tokyo Festival of Modulars, Spectrorama Festival Bologna, Pixxel Festival Slovenia and others.
